That the world always changes.
Itapos;s not like this is news, and Iapos;m not saying Iapos;m afraid of change, or afraid of whatapos;s different, I just wish there was a little bit less of it.
I wish things were how they were when I was a little girl.
When Gateway was right next to Petco, and I always thought they sold cows there. When Toys R Us didnapos;t have Babies R Us attached to its name. When you found a quarter on the ground, and thought you were the richest person alive. When the only drama between your friends was what whoapos;s mom packed in their lunch. When I�lived in my old house.
This is the third year I havenapos;t lived in that house, and I still can get over it. We moved when I was in 7th grade, but I still wasnapos;t old enough to fully understand, and I never said goodbye. I guess I just thought that when we had money again weapos;d move back in, but when my sister and I went to visit it in 8th grade, I walked in the backyard of�my childhood, and everything had been ripped up, and it hit me that it would never be the same again.
Everyone wishes they could go back to the house they grew up in, and relive all their memories just with one glance around a room. Iapos;ll never be able to do that.
Iapos;m not afraid of change. I just wish It werenapos;t happening so much, or at least that It wouldnapos;t be so durn hard.




Today I also realized that one single line, can be a poem.
